Clean Solar

I have read several studies that indicate if you do not clean your solar array off you can loose anywhere from 10-30% production after a year. If you clean them every three months you should maintain maximum efficiency.

Big Deal!

My parent company Solar Power Inc. just signed a deal with Areojet, the company in Sacramento that makes rocket engines and other high tech equipment, to design and construct a massive solar array. The array will be 3.5 Mega Watts. The average house is about 5 Kilo Watts, and this system will be bigger than 70 football fields.
"The first-year net clean energy benefits equate to offsetting approximately 8,270,000 car miles driven or the clean air benefits realized from planting 976,520 trees." Stated a Press Release
from GenCorp the parent company for Areojet.
We are also creating an affinity program with the Areojet employees to get a significant discount on residential solar.

History, can we learn our lesson?

If we look back in history society taps into local sources of energy to grow. The people exploit wood, food, water, then coal, and oil until it exceeds these finite resources and has a bust or population collapse. Have we learned from history?

New Paradigm for Solar

Most people think solar electricity is too expensive, but in relation to what? It is a matter of economics now in the Northern California region. If you can have solar on your home and pay a monthly payment that is less than your old bill that you normally pay to the Utility company then solar is now a cash positive investment. This investment has a finite expense, and the Utility company does not. It is like owning vs. renting your energy.

Energy from the Sun is Cheaper

We have the most powerful energy in the whole world in front of our eyes every day. The energy that comes from the sun and touches the earth every day is enough to supply our needs 10,000 times over. The issue is how can we capture it? I feel like I have the solution.
